Requirements:

• Grade 10-12 equivalent NQF level 3-5. 1 year exposure in a hospital environment and messenger experience.
• Good communication & interpersonal skills.
• A good attitude towards patients, relatives, staff members, and external clients.
• Awareness of Batho-Pele principles.
• Be willing to work in a team and under pressure.

Duties:

• Collecting files from various sections of the hospital.
• Taking and collecting blood samples from the blood bank and the lab.
• Performing duties and procedures relating to a specific work environment according to norms and standards of accuracy.
• Sorting patient’s files and loose documents.
• Acting as a reliever when requested by the supervisor.
• And other tasks as allocated by the supervisor.
