The Appointee should:
- NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate / Grade 12 or equivalent)
- At least 3 years’ experience as an administrator within a mining environment or related sector
- Demonstrate strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and have data-capturing knowledge and experience.
- Have sound knowledge and experience working on Symplexity and Maxxees.
- Medically fit to work in the specific business area.
- Clear security screening record.
- Valid driver’s license (if applicable)
Key Responsibilities:
- Administration • Plan, organise, monitor, and control office administration activities (Filing, archiving, copying, data capture, etc.) • Receive, distribute, and dispatch documentation in the office environment (Time sheets, Leave forms, etc.) • Prepare reports, memo’s, letters, and other documents as required. • Compile and distribute meeting minutes. • Maintain and update the office filing system. • Co-ordinate meetings, minor events, and travel arrangements • Plan and prepare meeting communications. • Monitor and control office supplies (stationary, uniforms, etc.) • Order and distribute office supplies. • Capture system data. • Liaise with stakeholders regarding department related queries.
- Stakeholder Relations • Maintaining relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and externally at all levels and cross-functionally. • Ensuring open communication channels with all relevant stakeholders.
- Financial Management Cost Savings: • Adhering to cost saving and cash conservation initiatives.
- Building a values-based organisational culture • Actively support and meaningfully participate in the execution of the segment specific organisational development plan. This support will manifest in the targeted shift in culture as described by a valid culture assessment.
- ESG Compliance • Align to international responsible mining principles. • SA Gold Operations: Align to World Gold Council (WGC) Responsible Gold Mining Principles (RGMPs). • SA PGM Operations: Enhance Together for Sustainability (eTfS) initiative.
- SHE Compliance • Maintain and comply with SHE standards within the work environment. • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures. Quality Management System (QMS): • Comply with requirements of the Quality Management System.
