Requirements:

• Qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as Enrolled Nurse.
• Proof of current registration with SANC as Enrolled Nurse.
• Must be able to work within the ethical and legal framework that governs the profession.
• Candidates must be able to work in a high-pressure environment and in a team.
• Shift work is required which includes weekends and night shifts.
• Must have good communication and conflict management skills.
• Must be able to maintain patients and relatives respect and dignity.

Duties:

• To ensure safe and effective clinical nursing practice.
• Development and implementation of basic patient care plans.
• Provide basic clinical nursing care.
• Ensure optimal utilization of human and material resources.
• Maintain professional growth/ethical standards and self-development.
• Demonstrate basic understanding of nursing procedures.
